The dynamic interaction between the valve membrane and the fluid system causes the pumping effect
In terms of temperature ranges, pneumatic valves offer the widest range of operation, since an applied external pneumatic pressure always deflects the valve membrane, regardless of the thermal state of the system that may influence other actuation principles.
